I had the smashed avocado toast, and it was super tasty, healthy, and filling. It’s the kind of meal that leaves you feeling satisfied without being too heavy.
The atmosphere is always buzzing, and every time we visited, there was a DJ playing, which gave the place such a fun and upbeat vibe.
The service was also amazing! All the staff were so welcoming and friendly. You can really tell that the whole team enjoys what they do, and that positive energy makes the experience even better!

TIS Café is an amazing spot with stunning views overlooking the beautiful rice terraces. The food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit.
To make your experience even more enjoyable, you can book in advance to avoid the crowds. Plus, they offer a free shuttle service that picks you up and takes you back to the meeting point, which is super convenient!

CHONTEA
Such a great matcha experience at Beyond The Whisk with the staff
Everything was explained clearly and in such an engaging way. We got to smell, touch, and taste different grades of matcha, while also learning about the history of matcha and how it’s produced.
What made the experience even more special was the selection of sweets paired with the matcha drinks. Got to enjoy a chocolate matcha cookie, wagashi, and matcha mochi ice cream the perfect little treats to complement the matcha.
It was not only delicious but also a fun and educational experience. If you’re a matcha lover or simply curious to learn more about Japanese matcha, this is definitely an experience worth trying!
KURASU
One of the most popular Kurasu spots in town – Best coffee shop Bali
If you’re planning to visit, keep in mind that it can get quite crowded, with long lines during weekends and peak hours. However, once you step inside, the space feels surprisingly spacious and peaceful.
The café is surrounded by beautiful scenery, including a lake with elegant black and white swans and a neatly landscaped green garden. There are also plenty of charming photo spots around the area, so don’t forget to bring your camera.
Further inside, you’ll find a stunning view overlooking the expansive green rice paddies. There is limited seating facing the rice fields, though, so you may need to wait for a spot if you want to enjoy the view while having your coffee.
The café is part of Tanah Gajah Resort, and the service is friendly and welcoming. If you’re looking for a peaceful place to slow down and enjoy nature, it’s especially lovely when there aren’t too many visitors.
One thing to keep in mind is the parking area, which is located across from the café. During the dry season, it can be quite dry and dusty, while it may get muddy during the rainy season.
Overall, come early if you want to enjoy the scenery with fewer crowds and have a more relaxing experience.
WYAH
This place was only a 10-minute walk from our villa, so it was super convenient.
What an iconic coffee shop! The interior and exterior are both absolutely beautiful, creating such a gorgeous and relaxing space to hang out, enjoy your coffee, and take in the atmosphere.
The coffee was great too a really solid brew.
The only downside is that it can get quite crowded, especially during busy hours. So, if you want to grab a good spot and enjoy the space at a slower pace, I’d recommend coming early.
Overall, it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in Ubud.
B3 BAKER BUTCHER BARISTA – UBUD
Such an Instagrammable place. Every corner is effortlessly beautiful, so you’ll definitely find plenty of photo-worthy spots wherever you go.
They also have a great selection of pastries and baked goods that are worth trying. However, if you visit in the evening, keep in mind that some of the popular pastries and bakery items may already be sold out.
Another plus? They have a spacious parking area, which makes visiting much more convenient.
Definitely a lovely spot to stop by, especially if you love good pastries and beautiful café spaces.
ZEST CAFE
A lush vegan paradise in Ubud.
If you’re looking for a dining experience that feels like a literal breath of fresh air, Zest Ubud is definitely worth checking out. From the moment you walk in, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped away from the hustle and bustle of the city and into a peaceful tropical sanctuary.
The architecture is absolutely breathtaking, but the real showstopper is the massive tree growing right through the center of the restaurant. It creates such a beautiful, grounding atmosphere and makes the entire space feel alive and connected to nature.
Plus, you’ll get incredible panoramic views of lush greenery surrounding the restaurant. It’s hard to believe you’re still so close to the center of Ubud because the atmosphere feels more like a hidden jungle retreat.
If you love vegan food, nature, and beautiful spaces, Zest Ubud is definitely a spot to add to your Ubud itinerary.
KINTAMANI
Kintamani is the perfect escape if you’re looking for cooler weather, fresh mountain air, and a more peaceful atmosphere in Bali.
It’s also a great place to slow down, grab a cup of coffee, and enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Abang, Mount Agung, and Mount Batur. And, of course, one of the highlights of visiting Kintamani is catching the beautiful sunrise over the mountains.

MONTANA DEL CAFE
Montana Del Cafe is absolutely beautiful, whether you visit for sunrise or sunset! Visited for both, and each experience was equally special. However, nothing beats watching the sunrise over Mount Batur while enjoying a cup of amazing specialty coffee.
The café itself is just as impressive. The interior is beautifully designed, with comfortable seating spread across two levels, so you can relax while taking in the incredible volcano views.
The atmosphere is peaceful, scenic, and perfect for slowing down and enjoying the moment. If you’re heading to Kintamani, Montana Del Cafe is definitely a beautiful spot to enjoy great coffee, stunning mountain views, and a peaceful Bali morning.
PAPERHILLS
Really nice spot overall! The food was good across the board, with solid flavors and beautiful presentation. However, the desserts were definitely the highlight absolutely incredible – coffee shop Bali.
Everything we tried was on another level, especially the sweet treats like the cinnamon roll and espresso tiramisu. So, if you have a sweet tooth, make sure you save some room for dessert because that’s where this place really shines!
The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, making it a great spot to hang out with friends or enjoy a slow meal.
The prices are slightly on the higher side for Bali, but still reasonable considering the overall quality and experience.
Definitely worth a visit and seriously, don’t skip the dessert!
AKASA
Akasa – coffee shop Bali. A lovely café with live music, good food, and a great atmosphere!
I really enjoyed the architecture and seating, and the view was absolutely stunning. It made the whole experience feel even more special, especially with the peaceful mountain scenery in the background.
We tried the Black Pepper Beef, Tom Yum Soup, and Pistachio Danish. Overall, everything was good, but the Pistachio Danish was definitely the highlight. The Black Pepper Beef, on the other hand, was a little underwhelming in terms of quality.
The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, while the live music added a nice touch without taking away from the tranquil surroundings.
Overall, it’s a lovely place to sit back, enjoy the mountain views, listen to some live music, and spend quality time with friends or loved ones.
LUNAMOON
Definitely one of the best options in the area, along with Treetop and Ritatkala!
The café has a huge open downstairs area with a great music selection. I especially appreciated that they didn’t play the same trendy beach club playlist you seem to hear everywhere in Bali.
There are plenty of different seating areas and photo spots to choose from, making it easy to find a comfortable corner to relax or take some pictures.The menu is also quite extensive, with a strong focus on Asian and Thai-inspired dishes.
We tried the Mama San Curry and Thai Basil, and both were excellent! The flavors were really good, and the portions were satisfying. The service was also friendly and helpful. They even let us cancel an appetizer after it had already been put in, once they explained that it would take a while to prepare, which I really appreciated.
Another plus is the great value for the price, along with the large and convenient parking area. It’s also one of the few places in the area that stays open late, making it a great option for a late-night meal or hangout.
Overall, definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area! Highly recommended coffee shop Bali.
PAHDI
Heavenly coffee with heavenly views. One of the most beautiful and surreal experiences you can have in Bali.
The café is famous for its coffee, but the real highlight is the breathtaking sunrise overlooking Mount Batur in Kintamani. I’ve never seen a sunrise quite like this one the floating clouds, unreal colors, and dramatic mountain scenery made the whole view feel almost magical.
And imagine enjoying all of that while sipping a cup of hot Balinese coffee. It was such a special experience and definitely one of those Bali moments you won’t forget.
Beyond the views, the café itself is beautiful, with a lovely atmosphere and an amazing selection of croissants and cakes.
A little early-morning adventure that’s absolutely worth waking up for.
LA VISTA
La Vista Coffee & Roastery is a stunning café experience coffee shop Bali, set in one of the most scenic locations in Bali. Perfectly positioned near Mount Batur and Lake Batur, the café offers breathtaking views that instantly turn a simple coffee break into a memorable experience.
The location is definitely the star of the show. Sitting with a hot cup of freshly brewed coffee while taking in the views of the volcano and calm lake feels incredibly peaceful and refreshing. The cool mountain air adds even more charm, making it an ideal stop after exploring the Batur area.
As the name suggests, La Vista also takes its coffee seriously. The coffee is well-roasted, rich, aromatic, and smooth. Whether you prefer espresso-based drinks or local Balinese coffee, the quality is consistent and satisfying.
The seating is thoughtfully arranged, with most tables offering beautiful views, making it a great spot for both photography and simply slowing down to enjoy the scenery. The ambience is calm, clean, and well-maintained, while the friendly staff add to the overall pleasant experience.

Munduk is one of those areas in Bali that’s still relatively under the radar, especially compared to more popular destinations among tourists and expats.
But don’t let its quiet atmosphere fool you, Munduk is home to plenty of hidden gem coffee shops, surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery, lush greenery, and a much more peaceful side of Bali.

The Little Hill Terrace is easily one of the best-designed and most beautifully decorated places I’ve ever visited in Bali.
The vibes here are absolutely immaculate, creating such a relaxing and inviting atmosphere that perfectly complements the incredible views. It’s truly a feast for both the eyes and the camera.
The food and drinks also lived up to the beautiful surroundings. Everything came together perfectly, making the whole experience feel even more special.
If you’re looking for a beautiful place to relax, enjoy great views, and take some amazing photos, The Little Hill Terrace is definitely worth a visit!
THE BOTANIST
The staff were really nice and welcoming, and the atmosphere was super cool and relaxing. The views were also beautiful, making it a lovely place to sit back and enjoy your time.
The menu is quite large and diverse, with plenty of options to choose from. While the breakfast selection is somewhat limited, the dishes we tried were really tasty and well-prepared.
ARUMKAYU
Absolutely stunning mountain views. The food is also of a really high standard, with generous portions and great quality. Everything feels thoughtfully prepared, and you can immediately tell that this place stands out from the other spots in the area.
From the beautiful scenery to the quality of the food, everything feels a cut above the rest. Definitely a place worth visiting if you’re in the area!
THE NORTHVIEW
The view is absolutely extraordinary, and the service is just as impressive. The menu offers a great variety of options, while the café’s location is beautifully set against the surrounding scenery.
Everything comes together perfectly from the breathtaking views and beautiful setting to the warm service and delicious menu. A lovely place to relax, enjoy a meal, and take in the scenery.
ULEKAN
One of the best meals we had while in Bali – coffee shop Bali.
You wouldn’t expect to discover such a beautiful restaurant in the middle of nowhere, but this place completely exceeded our expectations.
The food was exceptional, and the service was just as impressive. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared, while the architecture and design of the restaurant were refined, elegant, and absolutely beautiful.
A hidden gem that we’re so glad we came across.

ANALOG
Such a wonderful place with a warm and relaxing atmosphere.
The open-air design, cozy wooden furniture, and beautiful natural lighting create such a welcoming space. It’s the perfect spot to slow down, unwind, or catch up with friends over a good meal or coffee. Overall, it’s a beautiful and relaxing place to spend some quality time while enjoying good food in a peaceful setting.

Ours is one of those places that just feels good to be in.
The food is fresh, wholesome, and nourishing, with flavors that feel comforting without being too heavy. Every dish is thoughtfully prepared, leaving you feeling light, satisfied, and genuinely good after the meal.
It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, enjoy a nourishing meal, and simply feel good while you’re there.
SALTY COFFEE
Great spot for coffee. One of the few places where you can get a properly made espresso. The coffee is well-crafted, making it a great choice if you’re looking for a quality espresso in the area.
Definitely worth stopping by for a good cup of coffee shop Bali.
BUKIT CAFE
This place has a great vibe, with a relaxed atmosphere and a menu packed with plenty of choices. The prices are pretty standard for a tourist area, but the quality makes it worth checking out.
The coffee was really good and coming from a self-confessed coffee snob, that’s saying something. The omelette was also a hit and apparently just as good. Overall, a great spot to grab a coffee, enjoy a meal, and soak up the atmosphere!
